Her background includes experience in critical care in the Neurological and Surgical-Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Units. Liza has most recently cared for patients within the Perioperative Services department at Troy Beaumont. She cares for patients of all ages. Her passion for educating her patients and drive for continuous improvement led her to obtain a Master of Science in nursing with a family nurse practitioner specialty from South University. She is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Michigan Counsel of Nurse Practitioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a nurse practitioner, Liza devotes time to listening to each patient\u2019s unique needs. Understanding the vulnerability that often accompanies a trip to a doctor\u2019s office, Liza empowers patients by dedicating time to educate her patients and their families about their diagnosis and follow-up actions.
